Warm-Up "Two Truths and a Lie"

Please come up with three statements about past experiences—two true, one false. Remember to use compound adjectives ("I once had a nerve-wracking interview.")






Speaking Activity: "Story Swap"

Read this four story prompts and pick one:

  1. A time they got lost in a new city.
  2. Their most mind-blowing experience.
  3. A time they had a heart-warming encounter.
  4. A past nerve-wracking situation.

You must describe the event using at least two compound adjectives and past perfect.
